Student Assessments - STAAR, TAKS, TELPAS


To assist districts with the task of helping parents understand their child's test results, the Student Assessment Division has developed brochures for the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) grades 3 through 8, Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), TAKS–Modified (TAKS–M) and, the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS).






TAMS Student Portal


The Student Portal provides students and parents with online access to scores from the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), including TAKS-Modified (but not including TAKS-Alt) and the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) assessments.

The login link for the Student Portal is located at http://www.TexasAssessment.com/Students . From there, you will be able to click on a link that will take you to the Student Portal login page. Enter the Unique Access Code and your student’s birth date as provided on the student’s most recent Confidential Student Report and you will gain access to the assessment data in the Student Portal.

txConnect Parent Portal


txConnect is a parent portal application that provides parents and guardians Web access to current school-related information about their students, including attendance, grades, and assignments. txConnect works in conjunction with txGradebook, a classroom management system used by teachers to maintain and post student data, which is integrated with the iTCCS and RSCCC student systems.

Parents/guardians may access txConnect from anywhere with an Internet connection (work or home). Attendance data in txConnect is updated throughout the day; grades and assignments are updated daily.
